A Rebranding

A Note On Procrastination
Well Hi! Long time no see. Since I’ve been doing school so much lately, my workout situation has been a little lacking. But fret not friends!! I have decided to repurpose this blog and make it yet another internet me me me zones! Now, that’s not to say I wont talk about running anymore (I have a race in less then two weeks, and you will hear about it here WITH PICTURES EVEN!). But for now you will have to make due with the procrastinations of a mad philosopher.
I am yet again in the throughs of a paper writing fit of anxiety. This is good news for you! In this madness of doing every other bit of homework I have and reading Hyperbole and a Half for hours on end I was inspired to write for this here blog again. But low and behold I find myself again a day away from a deadline with my paper woefully incomplete.
For those of you who do not fully understand the anxiety of the post twenty-four hour to failure mark of paper writing I can only assume a number of circumstances.
1.     You are a responsible and well-organized human being with either no life or a super human self-discipline that makes me angrier then I have any right to be.
2.     Some how you have never written a paper, ever. My only question then is, how are you reading this blog, because you must not have gone to school, and so might, in fact, be illiterate.
3.     You are fearless, and just know that you can churn out an A paper in 3 hours from nothing. (I used to feel this way, so at least collage taught me a good sense fear and self-doubt.)
4.     You have a Time Machine. I want it.
5.     You are dead or a person.
If any of these apply I can only guess that you are not reading this blog, because I am pretty sure I know everyone who ahs read this blog, and you have all been there.

AUGUST!!!

So, it's been a long time friendly people. With the impending start of my sixth year of college I am back on the horse and in training for the Baltimore Half-Marathon. This week I have put in a Nine Miles, with and impending Twelve by the end of the day tomorrow. Running in this heat really sucks, but its absolutely worth it... or so I keep telling myself. More to come later this week.

Stay cool!

Another Dime, Another Dollar.

Weight: 244.3 lbs.
I know that the phrasing is off, but for some reason today this way just felt right. So I am going in on two weeks of meat free living, and coffee free. Other then feeling cleaned out, (the added fiber works a lot like Drano), there isn't any other change. The beginning of spring and the unending rush at work keeps life moving. But I can't shake the itching need to be doing something new. With the summer coming on, a new semester nearing, and work on the farm it should be an interesting year.

Getting Back on the Horse

Long time, no post. I know its been months but here I am getting back into the swing. It's been a rough few months and I have been busy and lazy with work, school applications, and staying relatively sane. So I have made an executive decision. The blog is back on, I'm getting rid of my hair, the deadline for the end of the year, and meat from my diet for the foreseeable future. I will post here keeping you guys updated with life news, exercise exclusives, and weekly weigh-ins.

I must say that one of the most amazing thing's about this off-the-horse spell is that you all never stopped tracking me down on here and in real life to demand I get back to it. And while I know I took a long enough time to get back to business, I'm here now to say thank you for being such a supportive group, and please never stop harassing me for a ten line blog post.

Day 25

Weight: 249
It has been a long week. After my brothers wedding and getting back from Seattle I haven't had a day to myself. But I have had time to get to the gym a bit. Still not much, and not enough to lose any weight. I have noticed that motivation is hard to come by, and I still seem to be recovering from this weekends festivities, if not from the insanity of the past six weeks.

Day 17

Weight: 249 lbs.
Here we are at out first weigh in of the new year. I pushed it in a day early since tomorrow morning I'm flying to Washington state for my brothers wedding. I must say that I pretty pleased that after three straight weekends of excess and frivolity I have kept it together enough to keep dropping pounds. But I need to pick up the pace and start really putting my nose, or rather my ass to the grind stone. Running is getting easier bit by bit, but my blister is still keeping me from hitting the pavement too hard, so biking and swimming will be the name of the game when I can sneak in a workout this weekend. I've also been having some trouble with livestrong.com so far this new year, my account seems to have rolled over and died, which is strange. I hope all of you readers out there had a good new years. I'm off to the big rainy cloudy North West.

Day 15

So, apparently I have readers, and they get a little antsy when I don't update every couple days. I hope everyone had a fantastic new year. My weekend was absolutely insane, with people down from Philly and general New Years glorious partying for all. With my brothers impending wedding this weekend my week is a little full and I haven't made it to the gym as much as I would have liked so far, but that should change over the next couple days.
My left foot still has a blister the size of a silver dollar on its pad, so running is taking a back seat to biking. Otherwise, things are chugging along. It's good to know that people are checking in and reading, but this weekend might be lacking in updates in all the Wedding madness.
